As part of Dronfield Town Councils commitment to tackling climate change and helping with CO2 reduction, existing lights at Cliffe Park and Coal Aston car park are to be replaced with LED lights.
The benefits of using LED include:
-Lasting much longer
- 60% less energy
- Less maintenance required
- An overall cost saving after initial capital expenditure is taken into account.

Highways engineers from Derbyshire County Council met with Dronfield Town Councillors to discuss plans to renew bus shelters on Route 43. Five locations along the route have been identified. Dronfield Roads & Pathways, £1.27 million investment
At the March Town council meeting, a report was received from Derbyshire County Council detailing the roads and pathways in Dronfield which are due to be resurfaced/redressed in this years LTP Capital Programme (2022/2023).

Important tree work has begun in Sindelfingen Park this week following a survey requested by Dronfield Town Council.
A tree survey is carried out approximately every five years to determine the condition of all the trees in the vicinity of Sindelfingen Park.
