The Responsible Financial Officer (RFO), under the Policy direction of the Council, is responsible for the proper administration of the Councils Financial affairs in accordance with S151 of the Local Government Act 1972. Financial Regulations

The Financial Regulations are reviewed on an annual basis in May each year and were last adopted at the May 2023 Annual Council Meeting - the minute reference can be seen below. A copy of the Regulations can be found below.

Budget & Precept

2024/25 Budget and Precept

The following budget summary was prepared in February 2024. It contains precept information and estimates of income and expenditure for the financial year 2024-2025.

The budget and precept were agreed at the full Council Meeting held on 5th February 2024.

332/23-24 RESOLVED - To approve the 2024-25 Budget.

333/23-24 RESOLVED - That a precept of £999,315 is requested from North East Derbyshire District Council.

Members Expenses

Dronfield Town Mayor currently receives an annual allowance of £3,000 which is payable monthly to help cover the expenses of attending many events throughout the year.

This was agreed and passed by the Town Council at the July 2017 Council Meeting

Minute reference : 63/17-18.

No other members of the council receive any allowance or payments.
