Dronfield Town Council is delighted to welcome the newest business to the Civic Centre - the bright and friendly Café Civic.

Town Mayor, Coun Lilian Deighton, joined café owner Oliver Guise-Smith and business partner Carl Dunne at the official opening on 3rd August when local people were treated to complimentary hot drinks and pastries on opening day.

Said the Mayor "It's great to see the unit open again, helping the Civic Centre to get back up and running. The café is really lovely and has such a nice atmosphere."

Carl who also runs two other successful businesses in the Civic Centre - Cards and Gifts and The Corner Shop, said "Everyone has been so encouraging and positive with what we have done and we hope to try and inject some real life back into the Civic Centre."

Café Civic serves traditional home cooked food, including breakfasts, lunches and cakes. It is open from 6am to 5pm every weekday, from 6:30am to 5pm Saturdays and 8am to 4pm Sundays.
