Thomas Taylor Charity - 2023 Applications now open
Are you about to start an Apprenticeship, University or College Course?
The Thomas Taylor Charity, managed by Dronfield Town Council, offers small grants up to £100 for young Dronfield residents (between the ages of 16 - 21) starting trades or further studies.

Dronfield Sports Centre - Holiday Activities
During the Summer holidays, the leisure centres in Dronfield, Eckington, Clay Cross and Killamarsh are hosting a variety of events for your children to enjoy.

Dronfield in Bloom
Residents may have noticed that hanging baskets have started to appear on lampposts around town with flower boxes also being added to the Civic Hall and at Cliffe Park.
In addition to this, around 7,500 bedding plants, will be planted in flower beds around town over the next few weeks by the Town Council's outside services team.

Coronation Tree Planting
On Saturday, 6th May, Dronfield Town Councillors planted an oak tree in Jubilee Park, in celebration and commemoration of the coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The event was made even more special by featuring the spade which had been used to plant the tree in the library gardens in Dronfield in 1953 for the coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II, 70 years previously.

Producers' Market - County Hall, Matlock
A host of local producers, farmers and artisans will be setting up stalls at the Producers' Market which is being held in the Members' Room at County Hall, Matlock, on Wednesday 24 May between 10am-2pm.
