North East Derbyshire District Council has been constantly reviewing refuse collections amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

After 10th April 2020, the collections will be streamlined to black and burgundy bin collections ONLY, maximising staff potential at this difficult time.

Dronfield Sports Centre Food Collection Point

As a result of the coronavirus outbreak the Community Support Team at North East Derbyshire District Council are collecting food, books and other items (such as jigsaws and games) on a weekly basis for vulnerable people who are unable to leave their homes. There is a collection each Friday between 12pm and 2pm at Dronfield Sports Centre.
