Dronfield Town Council are pleased to support the Dronfield Rotary Club with their Bleed Kit project. The Rotary Club have funded the purchase of Bleed Kits through proceeds from their weekly Community Lottery and dentations to the 2023 Santa's Sleigh attraction.

We have received a number of enquiries about the timeslots available for the MUGA pitch at Cliffe Park.

From 1st February 2024, the remaining MUGA timeslots available are:

Monday: 21.00-22.00

Tuesday: 17.00-18.00, 20.00-21.00, 21.00-22.00

Wednesday: Fully booked

Thursday: 17.00-18.00

Friday: 17.00-18.00, 18.00-19.00, 21.00-22.00

The Dronfield Town Council offices will be closed from Friday 22nd December 2023 to Monday 1st January 2024.

The date for Dronfield Christmas Lights Switch-on in 2023 is Friday 24th November!

Christmas Fest will begin at 4pm with the Civic Hall and Peel Centre hosting a variety of stalls from local organisations and commercial businesses.

Remembrance Sunday Wreaths

Due to the current high winds until later tonight, the 2023 wreaths at the war memorial have been temporarily moved indoors to prevent any loss or damage.

The wreaths will be returned to the war memorial tomorrow morning.

Tree Maintenance In Cliffe Park

Tree maintenance has begun in Cliffe Park this week, following a tree survey requested by Dronfield Town Council.

A tree survey is carried out approximately every five years to determine the condition of all the trees within the park.

The independent tree inspection identified 10 trees as dead, diseased, or dying and therefore the recommendation from the tree surgeon was to fell those trees affected.... Read More »
