Town Council office times over Christmas & New Year

The town council office is normally open between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. However, during the Christmas and New Year festivities the office will be closed from 24th December 2019 and will re-open at 10:00am on 2nd January 2020.

The annual Dronfield Christmas Light's Switch-On takes place tomorrow, Friday 29th November 2019 at 6:00pm outside the Library.

Residents lined the pavements in Dronfield yesterday, Sunday 10th November, to watch the Remembrance Sunday Parade as it made its way from School Lane to the Library Gardens and back again.

A service will take place at the War Memorial outside Dronfield Library on Sunday 10th November 2019. Arrangements for this years' service are as follows;

The Referendum for the Dronfield Neighbourhood Plan took place on Thursday 24th October 2019. North East Derbyshire District Council have declared the results of the votes cast as follows:

Number of votes cast in favour of a yes - 88.78%

Number of votes cast in favour of a no - 10.78%

Number of ballot papers rejected for being unmarked or wholly void for uncertainty - 0.44%
