Dronfield Community Centres to re-open

Dronfield Community Centres to re-open

Dronfield council is pleased to confirm that Gosforth Lodge and The Civic Centre will be opening their doors from the 2nd of December 2020 for permitted bookings only following the lifting of national restrictions.

We are also pleased to announce that we will also be taking MUGA booking again and the tennis courts will be unlocked and ready for use, pending further Government statements.

Derbyshire enters tier 3 COVID-19 restrictions from 2 December

The whole of Derbyshire has been placed in the highest Tier 3 Covid Very High alert level from just after midnight, December 2, after national lockdown restrictions comes to an end.

This means:

- Meeting with friends and family: No mixing of households indoors, or most outdoor places, apart from support bubbles.

Town Council support Santa's Sleigh

Rotary in Dronfield have organised Santa's Sleigh in S18 for over 25 years. In that time the money raised has been used to support many local projects.

This year Covid 19 and the placing of Dronfield in Tier 3 means that the Sleigh cannot operate in the normal way.

Christmas is coming to Dronfield this year.
