The parks and open spaces maintained by the Dronfield Town Council are:

Sindelfingen Park Play Area refurbished in 2023, including a fenced off toddler area, zipwire and mini football goal. An open basketball court and static fitness area is also situated within the park. There is also a large amount of open green space.

Cliffe Park Includes a café with an indoor/outdoor seating area and Gosforth Lodge (meeting room/kitchen available for hire - link here)

Play Area features a popular sand pit, basket swing, a variety of extensive play equipment and large open green space.

The park also has table tennis, MUGA pitch (Multi Use Games Area) with changing rooms, bowling green, 3 x tennis courts, basketball court, mini golf (use of own equipment required) and a large, green open space for picnics and playing games. There is a car parking on-site.

Hilltop Play Area and football pitch.

Marsh Avenue Play Area and large open green space with a play area which was refurbished in 2020.

Cemetery Road Play Area refurbished in 2020, mini football pitch and cycle track.

Moonpenny Way Play Area refurbished in 2021 and a large open green space.

Birches Fold Play Area refurbished in 2019 and large open green space with football goal.

Lundy Road Play Area refurbished in 2019.

Dronfield Woodhouse Recreation Ground Play Area fenced off and surrounded by large open green space and one football pitch, bowling green and pavilion, two tennis courts, cricket ground and running track (in summer). There is a car parking on-site. NB: The cricket pavilion is not managed by the Town Council.

Coal Aston Playing Fields One full size football pitch with changing rooms, two tennis courts, a bowling green and pavilion, car park on-site.

Stonelow Recreation Ground Enclosed play area close to the recreation ground, including a roundabout, swings and climbing rock for all ages plus much more. Cricket ground and pavilion with practice netting area, football pitches and changing rooms. There is car parking on-site.

Jubilee Park Large open green space.

Lucas Gardens Grassed area with flower beds and seating.

Lea Brook Valley Wooded area with footpath and seating.

The Alma Wooded area with footpaths.

Carr Lane Well Dressing Site Small grassed area with flower bed, used annually for the Well Dressing.

In addition to the above the Town Council also maintain smaller green areas around the town including but not limited to Quoit Green, The Pond (Coal Aston), flower bed on Carr Lane, flower bed opposite White Swan, flower bed at Wreakes Lane, small grassed area at junction of Stone Road and Cross Lane and small grassed area at top of Dyche Lane.

    The Commercial Use of Parks policy applies for any groups wishing to use the parks of Dronfield for commercial gain or large events. Please read the policy to check if it applies to you before using the parks for group activities. If you are unsure or have any questions please call the office on 01246 418573.
