In line with the latest Government guidance Dronfield Town Council has now returned to socially distanced, face to face council meetings.

After meeting virtually, via video conferencing app Zoom, for more than a year Dronfield Town Council held its first meeting in public on Monday 10th of May 2021.

A children's cycle track complete with street signs, zebra crossings and roundabouts has opened in Cemetery Road play area.

This spring will see the planting of more wildflower meadows in Dronfield, helping the local bee and butterfly populations to thrive.

Following positive feedback from residents, Dronfield Town Council has expanded its wildflower planting programme.

Duke of Edinburgh passes away aged 99

Dronfield Town Council joins the nation in mourning the death of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh.

As a mark of respect, the Union Flag at the Peel Centre Flagpole will fly at half-mast until further notice.

During the current lockdown the Town Council arrangements may unfortunately be restricted.
