Police Mobile Speed Cameras

Dronfield Town Council agreed to pay for the annual calibration of the local speed enforcement camera for a further year.

The laser device needs to be calibrated for local police to be able to issue tickets and prosecutions. Dronfield has had exclusive use of its own camera for several years and it plays a key part in keeping our town's roads safe.

Coun Marie Ireland, Chair of the Road Safety Committee commented: "We are committed to working in partnership with our local police to keep our residents safe. This camera compliments our five speed indicator device sites and our community speedwatch volunteers."

The cost is £245 plus carriage and VAT.
