The 2023 Dronfield Christmas Lights Switch On

Come and experience the magic of the festive season at Dronfield Town Council's annual Christmas Light Switch on!

Join us tonight from 4pm till 8pm, as we illuminate the town with our Christmas light turn-on event. Come and celebrate with us, gather with friends and family to count down the moments until the switch is flipped, lighting the streets aglow with festive cheer.

The Civic Hall will be filled with local vendors selling festive gifts. Father Christmas will make a special appearance courtesy of Dronfield Rotary Club, as we celebrate the season in style.

On the High Street you will find Festive Table Football Zone so come along and challenge family and friends to our free table football tournament.

The celebrations continue across at Dronfield Hall Barn and Peel Centre with their artisan and producers' markets. There's something for all ages, with stallholders offering a selection of gifts and decorations.

If you need to take a break from shopping, then take a stroll down to Dronfield Parish Church and experience the popular Christmas Tree Festival. With up to 100 trees on display throughout our stunning church, the trees will be decorated to individual themes by local businesses, schools and charities.

This year the children's fairground rides will be available in the library gardens car park along with various stalls.

Outside the Civic Hall, you'll find fabulous food offerings from Firery Dough Pizza and The Greedy Greek.

Please note: Road closures will be in place from 4pm until 8pm with High Street being closed from the junction at Gosforth Lane to the junction at Soaper Lane.
