Oak tree to be planted for Coronation

Dronfield Town Council are celebrating the new reign and coronation of HM King Charles III, in several ways over the coming days and month.

On Saturday 6th May, an oak tree will be planted at Jubilee Park at 9:00am to commemorate the coronation, members of the public are invited to join in this occasion.

The coronation flag will be flown outside the Peel Centre for the weekend of celebrations and following the coronation the Town Council will be requesting a portrait of His Majesty after the release of the official portraits by the Royal Household. The portrait will be framed and displayed within the Civic Hall.

The Town Council wishes all residents an enjoyable coronation weekend and pass on their congratulations to HM King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
