Briefing sessions for prospective election candidates

The next scheduled Elections taking place within North East Derbyshire are the District and Parish Elections on Thursday 4 May 2023.

North East Derbyshire District Council will be holding briefing sessions for prospective Candidates and their Election Agents on the following dates: Tuesday 7 March 2023, Thursday 9 March 2023 and Wednesday 15 March 2023. All sessions will commence at 6pm at North East Derbyshire District Council, District Council Offices, 2013 Mill Lane. Wingerworth, Chesterfield S42 6NG. The sessions will cover arrangements for the Election, including nominations, postal voting, polling day and the verification and count.

North East Derbyshire District Council will be holding a post nomination briefing after the close of nominations which will cover more detailed arrangements for polling day and the verification and count. This will be held on Tuesday 11 April 2023 at 6pm at the District Council Offices.
