Showing of the Queens 1953 Coronation - Dronfield Civic Hall

This year the Queen will become the first British monarch ever to celebrate 70 years on the throne. To mark such a momentous occasion Dronfield Town Council will be showing the feature-length Technicolor recording of the Coronation.

This ITV recording of the Coronation includes footage from the actual crowning, the processions before and afterwards and general introductory views of Britain in 1953.

So come along and join us on Thursday 2nd of June when the Civic Hall will open its doors for free entry to watch the Coronation from 1953, called A Queen is Crowned.

Showing from 10am till 4pm.

Light refreshments will be served.
