Important Tree works begin in Sindelfingen Park

Important tree work has begun in Sindelfingen Park this week following a survey requested by Dronfield Town Council.

A tree survey is carried out approximately every five years to determine the condition of all the trees in the vicinity of Sindelfingen Park.

The independent inspection identified sixteen trees as dead, diseased, or dying and therefore the recommendation from the tree surgeon was to fell those trees affected. A further 30 or so trees also required general maintenance work to be carried out, which will include work such as pruning, crown lifting lower branches and crown thinning.

The work due to be carried out this week and next week is set to greatly improve the environment of the park and the health of the trees within it.

Dronfield Town Council plan to replant a minimum of sixteen trees within the park to replace those that have been felled and a local community group has also requested the opportunity to plant a tree within the park once the essential tree maintenance works have been completed.
