Creepy Competitions for Halloween!

Spooky Season is just around the corner and this year Dronfield Town Council are holding some spooktacular competitions!

If you fancy trying your hand at our Pumpkin decorating competition, then all you need to do is get a pumpkin then it's all up to you! Conjure up your frightful imagination and celebrate the spooktacular!. Maybe you could turn it into your favourite film character, pop star or perhaps try something really spooky! The more unique and creative the better! Take a picture of your 'Monsterpiece' and email it with your name, age and contact details, to loran.stonehouse@dronfield.gov.uk.

Feeling like a frightfully good artist? Then there is our spooky Halloween Colouring Competition for you to enter. So put your ghoulishly great talents down on paper by creating a prize winning petrifyingly peculiar pumpkin face. You can colour it, paint it or decorate it, let your creativity run wild. Entry is simple, just print off the pumpkin template, once completed post your entries to Loran Stonehouse, Dronfield Town Council, Civic Hall, Civic Centre, Dronfield, S18, 1PD, or simply pop them through the Town Council letter box.

Deadline for entries for both competitions: Friday 29th October 2021

Prizes will be awarded in the following age groups under 5's, 5 - 8 years old and 8 – 11 years old.

Prizes for each competition - First Prize, £30 Argos voucher, Second prize, £20 Argos voucher, Third prize, £10 Argos Voucher

We haven't forgotten the shop owners of Dronfield either, we are asking them to get in the spirit by decorating their windows with a haunting Halloween display.
