Win a chance to have your Council Tax paid for a month by entering North East Derbyshire Chair’s photo competition!

The chairman of North East Derbyshire District Council has launched an online photo competition where the winner will have their council tax paid for a month.

The Council Chair is raising cash for her two chosen charities - Alzheimer's Research UK and the National Deaf Children's Society.

The Chair of North East Derbyshire District Council, Councillor Pat Antcliff said, "We have such a beautiful district in North East Derbyshire and this photo competition will show off some of our lovely places – all you have to do is correctly identify where they are!"

Residents of North East Derbyshire are invited to take part in the online competition by guessing the locations of the 8 images on the council's website: https://www.ne-derbyshire.gov.uk/about-the-council/councillors-and-meetings/chair-of-the-council

The guesses are then submitted as part of a £5 donation to the Chair's charities (answers can be submitted in the comments on the donation site) and the entrants will receive a further 8 images by email.

Donations can be made easily, online, by visiting: www.easydonate.org/NOIT02

The full 16 answers should be submitted to chairsoffice@ne-derbyshire.gov.uk and the lucky winner who guesses all 16 correctly, or if multiple entries correctly identify the 16 locations, will be drawn at random.

The competition closes on Wednesday 27 January 2021 at 5 pm, with the winner drawn at the end of the month.

The prize will be funded from the Civic budget for this competition. All funds raised will go to the Chair's chosen charities.
