Join your Dronfield Councillors Virtual Meetings

At the beginning of November, the District Council launched a consultation process on the Main Modifications proposed on the North East Derbyshire Local Plan. The Local Plan, amongst other things, says where houses will be built within Dronfield over the coming years.

We need lots of residents to comment on this draft to give us the best chance to convince the independent Inspector, about how to improve the Local Plan further, with particular reference to retaining the greenbelt around the town. The deadline for comments to be submitted is Wednesday 23rd December 2020.

Your local Dronfield Councillors would usually be holding surgeries during this time to assist residents and provide further details about what can be commented upon during this consultation. However, with the current national restrictions in place for COVID-19, we are unable to hold face to face meetings. Therefore, a number of virtual meeting dates have been set as detailed below.

The online meetings will be held on the following dates:

· Friday 20th November - 1pm to 2pm
· Monday 23rd November - 11am to 12pm
· Wednesday 25th November - 11am to 12pm
· Wednesday 25th November - 4pm to 5pm
· Thursday 26th November - 12pm to 1pm
· Thursday 26th November - 6pm to 7pm
· Tuesday 1st December - 3.30pm to 5.30pm
· Thursday 3rd December - 6pm to 7pm
· Tuesday 8th December - 4pm to 5pm
· Thursday 10th December - 6pm to 7pm
· Friday 11th December - 5pm to 6pm
· Wednesday 16th December - 6pm to 7pm
· Friday 18th December - 1pm to 2pm
