Dronfield Town Council is planning a Beacon Lighting Celebration Event to mark and celebrate the historic event of the Queens Platinum Jubilee. The event, to be held on Thursday 2nd June 2022, will celebrate and reflect on The Queen's 70 years of service to our country.

The annual Dronfield Christmas Light's Switch-On takes place tomorrow, Friday 29th November 2019 at 6:00pm outside the Library.

Christmas celebrations will begin in Dronfield on Friday 29th November with the annual Christmas Lights Switch-on at 6pm in the Library Gardens. Residents lined the pavements in Dronfield yesterday, Sunday 10th November, to watch the Remembrance Sunday Parade as it made its way from School Lane to the Library Gardens and back again.

A service will take place at the War Memorial outside Dronfield Library on Sunday 10th November 2019. Arrangements for this years' service are as follows;

Stalls are now available to book for the Christmas Fest, taking place on Friday 29th November at the Civic Hall between 4pm and 8pm.
There will be free craft activities for the children and children will also be able to visit Santa, plus there will be a fairground outside in the car park too.

Dronfest has become an annual highlight in the Dronfield calendar of events. In this, it's 20th year, Dronfest will return to Cliffe Park, Callywhite Lane in Dronfield with 2 stages of great music, along with the usual complement of food stalls, bars and entertainment.
