Civic Centre Motion

Town councillors unanimously passed a motion at the February Council meeting regarding the development of the Civic Centre.

The council noted that, to date, no response has been received from the agents representing the owners of the retail units at the Civic Centre.

The council therefore resolved to write again to the agents expressing their profound disappointment that they have not responded. They urge them to engage with the council and residents in a meaningful way about their plans for the future redevelopment of the site and, if they fail to respond, the council will consider escalating the matter further.
