Dronfield Woodhouse tennis courts open

Town Councillors have been delighted to see the refurbishment of Dronfield Woodhouse tennis courts.

The two new, high quality , competitive standard courts are finished in a hard-wearing surface to match three courts at Cliffe Park and two at Coal Aston.

The modern blue colour is to give the right contrast with the tennis ball, making it easier to see for players and spectators. The works include new posts, nets and chainlink fencing.

Coun Kevin Tait, Chair of the Parks Committee, commented. "The provision of high quality sports facilities for residents of Dronfield is one of our key priorities. We really hope residents enjoy these fantastic new courts this summer. They are open and free to use for people of all ages and abilities."
