Lighting of the Beacon Ceremony

Dronfield Town Council invite all the residents of Dronfield and surrounding areas to come along and celebrate the lighting of the beacon together at Sindelfingen Park.

The event will be part of a country-wide celebration in which 1,500 beacons will be lit in recognition of the Queen's service, bringing communities across the globe together to pay tribute.

The event will take place on Thursday 2nd of June 2022 with people gathering from 9:00pm with the Beacon Lighting taking place at 9:45pm.

We would advise getting there in plenty of time as accurate lighting times need to be adhered to.
