Christmas Light Switch-on 2021

This year there is a whole range of events happening as part of the Town Council's Christmas Light Switch-On. The festive filled event on Friday 26 November will commence at 4pm and run until 8pm.

Dronfield will sparkle brightly on this special night, with the school choir singing carols by the Christmas Tree, Bands playing and Christmas lights twinkling. There will be chestnuts roasting and the aroma of mulled wine and minced pies to add to the festive atmosphere.

The Dronfield Hall Barn and The Peel Centre will be hosting a festive market. There will be many stalls where visitors will find unusual stocking fillers, unique and personalised gifts and, of course, flavoursome festive foods.

Town Centre shops will be offering late night shopping and Music with Mummy are hosting further stalls inside along with the opportunity to have your little one's photo taken in Santa's sleigh with a Christmassy backdrop!

There is further festive family fun to be had in the form of a children's fun fair and within the Civic Hall there is a wealth of goods on offer at the Christmas themed market along with a Christmas craft workshop for your little ones to enjoy.

And of course, no Christmas event would be complete without a visit from Father Christmas himself.

As an extra special treat this year, come and meet Father Christmas's real-life reindeer!
