Christmas Light Switch On 2021

 Christmas Light Switch On 2021

Wrap up warm and kick start your Christmas celebrations by attending Dronfield's Christmas Light Switch On

Families from across Dronfield and surrounding areas are being urged to mark 4pm till 8pm on Friday 26th November in their diaries as the date when the town will officially switch on its Christmas lights.

After the cancellation of the event last year due to Covid restrictions in place at the time, Dronfield Town Council is gearing up for a magical night in the Library Gardens featuring festive entertainment in addition to the big switch-on.

The event will start at 4pm when residents can enjoy a host of festive stalls selling arts and crafts, and seasonal gifts in the Civic Hall and a special visit from Santa, courtesy of Dronfield Rotary Club prior to the official switch-on of the lights, which will take place at 6pm.

If that was not enough, there will be a Christmas market held in Dronfield Hall barn and the Peel Centre and local businesses will be opening for late-night shopping.

We hope you can all join us for an evening of Yuletide fun.

If you are interested in having a stall at the in the Civic Hall, please contact the Loran Stonehouse on 07859 915723 or loran.stonehouse@dronfield.gov.uk.
