New recruit Amy Johnson joins the team

Dronfield Town Council are delighted to welcome Amy Johnson to the team. Amy is the new Administration Officer and will be looking after the booking and invoicing process for the Town Council's venues and sports facilities, in addition to general administration duties and handling enquiries coming into the office.

Amy, has a Diploma in Business Administration and previously worked in the hospitality sector as a Sales Manager. However, after realising she would like a new challenge, she felt this role would be perfect for her.

"I am excited to see what this new role has to offer and the new skills that I will gain, as well as contributing skills that I already have from previous administration experience.

As a local Dronfield resident myself I am extremely familiar with the area, and even more so within the last year, as I have been going on lots of walks with my family, much like the rest of Dronfield.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone within my workplace and to be joining such a hard-working team," said Amy.

The Town Council manage the bookings for the Civic Hall and Gosforth Lodge, in addition to cricket and football pitches at Dronfield Woodhouse, Coal Aston, Stonelow and Cliffe Park. If you would like to make a booking or simply enquire about availability please email amy.johnson@dronfield.gov.uk or visit the venue hire section on the website www.dronfield.gov.uk.
