Residents may have noticed that hanging baskets have started to appear on lampposts around town with flower boxes also being added to the Civic Hall and at Cliffe Park.

Coronation Tree Planting

On Saturday, 6th May, Dronfield Town Councillors planted an oak tree in Jubilee Park, in celebration and commemoration of the coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

The event was made even more special by featuring the spade which had been used to plant the tree in the library gardens in Dronfield in 1953 for the coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II, 70 years previously.
