Festive date for your diary - Friday 29th November

Make sure you have Friday 29th November in your diary now with a number of great events lined up to take place in Dronfield.

Christmas Fest & Fairground
There will be 15 - 20 local groups and organisations with stalls in the Civic Hall from 4pm and 8pm. Come and join us after school for FREE Christmas craft activities for the children, festive refreshments and a visit to Santa. Plus enjoy the fairground rides in the Civic Centre car park.

Christmas Lights Switch-On
At 6:00pm the annual lights switch-on will take place in front of the Library. The award winning Dronfield Genquip Band will provide the musical accompaniment for carol singing plus songs will be performed by Gorseybrigg Primary School Choir - this is a great way to start the festive season.

Christmas Tree Festival
The popular Christmas Tree Festival is back again and will be launching in the Parish Church on Friday 29th November and will be open until 9:00pm that evening. With around 200 spectacular Christmas trees to view the event is not to be missed and will run until 8th December.

Dronfield Heritage Barn
Between 6pm and 9pm there will be a Christmas Mini Market at the Barn – come and find those perfect Christmas gifts from the arts and crafts market. Enjoy festive music with mince pies and mulled wine.

With shops on the High Street also planning on opening late this is definitely an evening in Dronfield not to be missed - put the date in your diary now!
