The National Lottery helps fund Gosforth Lodge refurbishment

During the half term holidays next week (27th - 31st May), Gosforth Lodge in Cliffe Park will be receiving a new lease of life. The room will be painted, have a new hard wearing floor fitted and new sleek blinds fitted. This is in part thanks to a successful application to the National Lottery Community Fund, which awarded £10,000 towards the cost of the project.

Gosforth Lodge is a community venues that helps bring people together. The venue is currently used by a wide variety of groups including a toddler play group, the Old Peoples Welfare Committee, Friends of Dronfield Train Station, yoga groups, Town Women's Guild and the Women's Institute. It is also a popular choice for children's birthday parties.

By providing the venue with a new lease of life it will enable more members of the community to benefit from this great space located within Dronfield's largest play area, Cliffe Park.

If you would like to hire the venue please call Carole on 01246 418573 or visit the council office.
