Two part-time job vacancies

Applications are invited for the above two posts. The roles involve acting as Caretaker and providing cover at various Town Council facilities as and when required ensuring that the venues and premises are clean, prepared and available for hirers. There are two roles available.

The first is for 30 hrs per work and the normal working hours will be 4:30pm - 10:30pm Monday to Friday, however the successful applicant will also be expected to cover at additional times, when required.

The second is for 15hrs per week and the hours of work will be on a variable basis and include evening and weekend work depending on room and football bookings. The successful applicant will also be expect to provide cover as and when required.

Both roles will include;

  • inspecting the interior and exterior of buildings
  • setting up rooms for bookings
  • carrying out weekly fire alarm test
  • cleaning tasks
  • general handy person duties
  • ensuring adequate stock is maintained
  • responding to emergency call outs
  • ensuring facilities are open and available when required
  • ensuring building and premises are locked securely.

Scale Point 13 - £9.04 per hour
