Dronfield Library Consultation on 4th June

Derbyshire County Council have unveiled their proposed Derbyshire Public Library Service Strategy `Libraries for Derbyshire', setting out their commitment to the library service and outlining proposals to secure its future.

A 12-week consultation about the proposed strategy is now up and running and Dronfield residents are being encouraged to have their say on the plans, which include reducing the opening hours of Dronfield Library.

As part of the consultation, Derbyshire County Council have organised drop-in sessions at all 45 libraries involved, so that people can find out more about the plans, speak to staff and ask questions.

The drop-in session at Dronfield Library will be held from 10am to midday on Monday 4 June.

There is also an online consultation questionnaire and paper copies of the questionnaire are also available at the library for people who are unable to complete it in online.
