Cllr Richard Welton
Richard is a former barrister, business investor and company advisor with degrees in law and business (MBA) from Durham University. he spent the majority of my career advising and investing in small and medium sized businesses in the North of England and the Midlands. His ward is Gosforth Valley where he grew up attending William Levick then Henry Fanshawe School and now live with my wife Michelle. he is also a North East Derbyshire District Councillor for Gosforth Valley as well, where he sits on the following committees, Licensing, Scrutiny and Standards. On the Town Council he sits on Budget, Civic Hall Advisory, Personnel and Standing Orders committees. He also sits on the Henry Fanshawe Foundation as a Foundation Governor and Trustee and is a representative on the Dronfield Relief in Need Charity.
