Public Forum on Planning Matters No items raised. Model Code of ConductMembers were reminded that any changes to their Declaration of Interests should be declared. Members were also advised to declare, at this point, any items of the agenda where they may consider themselves to have a particular or prejudicial interest in the matter to be conducted 163. Youth Matters No items raised Police Matters Due to other duties, no police office was in attendance for this meeting and no crime statistics had been received for circulation. Councillor Brader produced a schedule of crime statistics from the police website which was informative and showed that Dronfield has a relatively low crime rate when compared to other areas. 165. RESOLVED That this report be received and noted. Council Minutes Members considered the minutes of the ordinary meeting of Dronfield Town Council held on 8th January together with all the appendices (Pages 71 – 81) 166. RESOLVED That these Minutes be received and accepted as a true record of events and that the Town Mayor be duly authorised to sign them as such. Planning Matters Councillors T Furniss,
F Higgins and Planning Applications Members considered a schedule of planning applications submitted by North East Derbyshire District Council for comment. 167. RESOLVED That Application 07/000016/FL by Sainsburys Ltd. Section 73 application for continued use of the development without complying with condition 11 (hours of delivery) on planning permission reference NED/397/198 be objected to as members would not wish to allow unrestricted access by heavy goods vehicles at all times of the day and night. The condition of delivery hours was imposed such that neighbouring and adjacent residential dwellers were not subject to noise pollution at unsocial hours. 168. RESOLVED That application 07/00086/TPO by Mr I Collins of Green Lane for the felling of 4 trees and pruning of trees covered by NED TPO 10 on land adjacent be strongly objected to and NEDDC be informed that this Councils Policy states that only dangerous or diseased trees should be given consent for felling. 169. RESOLVED That application
07/00096/CATPO by Mr Western of Planning Decisions Members considered a schedule of planning consents and refusals submitted by North East Derbyshire District Council submitted for information. 170. RESOLVED That this report be received and noted. Town Clerk’s Report Members considered a reports of various initiatives and projects being undertaken. Outside Services 171. RESOLVED That this report be received and noted. Bus Shelter Damage 172. RESOLVED That this report be received and noted Offender Management Bill. Members consider the response of the Home Office to the Councils letter of objection sent after last months meeting. 173. RESOLVED That this report be received and noted The Members were informed of certain difficulties being faced by the Peel Centre Trustees regarding acceptable safe access to the site, which may be subject to a planning application in the near future. 174. RESOLVED That this Council would await sight of any future planning application and then invite the Peel Centre Trustees to attend and speak in support of such application. Vandalism – Members were
informed of recent vandalism at 175. RESOLVED That Inspector Mark Fitzpatrick be invited to a meeting of the Properties Working Group and, asked for the police services official views on the benefits/disbenefits of installing street lighting for safer and securer routes to school for scholars. Code of
Conduct for Local Authority Members. Members considered
a report of the Standard Board for 176. RESOLVED That this report be received and noted. Dates of Council
Meetings (2006/2007) Members considered an amended schedule of Town Council meetings for this current civic year. 177. RESOLVED That the cycle of Council meetings be amended such that the meeting scheduled for Reports of Town Council Representatives No points raised by Members. Schedule of PaymentsMembers considered a schedule of payments in the amount of £119,345.65 for the month of December 2006 drawn on the Council’s No 1 Account. 178. RESOLVED That the schedule of payments in the amount of £119,345.65 for the month of December 2006 be received, accepted and approved. Schedule of ReceiptsMembers considered a schedule of receipts on the amount of £20,985.74 for the month of December 2006 and paid into the Council’s No 2 deposit account. 179.
