Notes of the Budget Working Group

Members considered the notes of the Budget Working Group held on 12^th January 2006 and noted the recommendation therein.

Budget Estimates for 2006/2007 (Appendix 1)

Members considered a detailed report of the Town Clerk comprising spreadsheets and budgetary out-turns produced by the Council’s financial software. The budget estimates for next year had been constrained to an increase of 3% over last year’s precept, which was considered to be in line with inflation and government guidelines.

123. RESOLVED

1. That the scale of charges for Town Council facilities (Appendix 2) be implemented from 1^st April 2006.
2. That the precept for 2006/2007 be set at £695,250 and that North East Derbyshire District Council be informed of this required precept.
