Allotments
The four allotment sites in the town (Chiverton, Coal Aston, Farwater Lane and Snape Hill) provide some 130 plots. The rents are very reasonable. The Dronfield Horticultural Society on behalf of the Town Council manages the allotments: all lettings are the responsibility of the Society, and all enquiries should be directed to the Secretary of the Society (Tel: 01246 412747). The Town Council funds capital works on the allotments.

Cemetery
Dronfield Town Council owns Dronfield Cemetery but the policy decisions and day to day management of the amenity are vested in a joint burial committee, whereby Dronfield town Council and Unstone Parish Council nominate representatives to serve and then precept both councils annually to meet the running costs of the Cemetery, and to maintain and upkeep the cemetery and its buildings.
